Curt Mondell, PhD, is the Senior Director and Owner of Hormone Health and Wellness of the Palm Beaches. With a specialization in biochemistry, Dr. Mondell is dedicated to promoting total body health through personalized care, always prioritizing the needs of his patients. A native of West Palm Beach, Dr. Mondell—affectionately known as “Dr. Curt”—has passionately engaged in a variety of physical sports and activities since childhood. After completing his undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, his fascination with physical fitness, nutrition, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy deepened. Dr. Curt began bodybuilding and competing in various South Florida competitions, eventually opening his own gym. His academic pursuits culminated in a Doctorate in Biochemistry, where he focused on key areas including low testosterone, weight loss, erectile dysfunction, and athletic and aesthetic performance enhancement.

For decades, Dr. Curt has been transforming lives by helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals. I just wanted to give you and Dr. Curt a quick update.  This marks 6 weeks that I have been on TRT at 200 mg/week.  It has been absolutely amazing and has allowed me to completely change my entire lifestyle.  I am no longer lethargic or fatigued throughout the day.  I feel huge improvements in energy and have significantly decreased caffeine intake.  I am waking up early again at 5:30 - 6:00 am to hit the gym and am no longer just dragging myself out of bed because I have to.  I also feel far more focused during the day when working at my job and feel like I am more locked in while performing specific tasks. 

I am working out more and lifting weights around 5-6 days/week.  My strength has increased significantly in this short period of time.  I have always trained hard, and even tried to do so when my testosterone was in the dumps, but it finally feels like I am getting a return on my hard work.  I am lifting 20 lbs more on sets of 5.  I have logged my workouts for years and really keep track of my programming.  I have far more stamina than I used to and no longer feel smoked and worn out after just a few sets of a strenuous exercise.  This also goes for doing things around the house (pressure washing driveway, yard work,etc.).  Recovery has also improved and I am far less sore.  I have gained weight but it seems to be good weight gain and mostly muscle and water.  When I started TRT, I was around 225-230.  I am now 235-240 depending on the time of day.   My arms are more vascular, my chest and legs are fuller, and I am filling out the sleeves of my shirts.  

Sleep has greatly improved.  I use my CPAP machine which tracks my AHI each night.  My numbers have gone down significantly since starting TRT and are often less than 1 interruption per hour (pre-TRT with CPAP was less than 5, which is very good, but it is now even better).  Of course, sex drive/libido has increased significantly and I feel much better.  The first two weeks were absolutely insane, which I assume was my body trying to adjust, but things then seemed to level out.  I am much more interested in sex now and think about it much more frequently than I did before TRT.  The stamina in the bedroom is also amazing.  I have not had any estrogen-like symptoms so far and have not taken any Anastrozole.

Anyways, I just wanted to thank you and Dr. Curt and figured that you would enjoy hearing about the positive results that I have experienced.

I am pleased to say that I am starting my 6th week on TRT, and things could not be going better! I am finally sleeping again, my sex life is back like I am a teenager again, and the wife is in love all over again.
